Yoga for beginners: Find your inner Zen with this simple guide

So… why yoga?  Leaving behind work after a long festival break can be both physical and mental, but the best yoga for beginners can help you reset.  This is one of the top 5 reasons why you should try to add to the excitement of buying attractive athletic wear.

Yoga has long been the ultimate cleanser for both body and mind and Hannah Barrett (@ yoga_girl_london), a yoga instructor, author and health and fitness expert, believes it is the perfect way to increase happiness, while improving overall fitness levels and strength.

“Through yoga I am happier and have learned to spend my time enjoying my past rather than living in the past or worrying about the future.  My yoga classes are perfect for people of all ages and abilities, from beginner to advanced practitioners to yoga breathing, having fun and helping others to bring a plan, without worrying at the door, "she adds.

Spending weeks on Quality Street and changing a few yards from the sofa to the kitchen to trim a few handfuls of ham each day can keep our sense of shape, while timely thoughts and a dress can wreak havoc on the boss's mind.

The following workout is designed with perfect beginners in mind, while the images provided by Hannah are for illustration purposes, so take a good look and try to mimic the postures before embarking on a workout.
