Reliance Geo Fiber vs Airtel Fiber: Here are the best 100Mbps monthly broadband plans

Reliance Jio launched their Geo Fiber in September this year and they recently launched a new project called "Migration Plan" for customers.  The plan is valid for seven days, after which users will have the option to switch to the official version or fully subscribe to the network.

Airtel also launched Airtel Xtreme Fiber Broadband earlier this year.  According to a report by Telecom Talc, Airtel Xtreme uses virtualization technology, which is considered to be the number one broadband technology in Europe.  The report also says that Airtel is the first broadband supplier to offer this technology in India.

There are several plans to choose from both telecom operators, here's what Gio Fiber and Airtel Extreme Fiber offer customers under the 100 Mbps plan:

  Geo Fiber

Bronze Plan: With speeds of up to 1 Mbps, Bio plans for Gio Fiber cost 9k and provide up to 150GB of high speed data for 30 days.  The plan includes free voice calls available anywhere in India and includes 1200 TV video calling and 1200 Zero-latency gaming.  Content sharing at home and outside and a security device worth Rs 999 is also part of the plan.  Users get access to three months worth of Jio Movies and Jio Savings.

Silver Plan: At a slightly higher price per month, Silver Plan also offers 100 Mbps speed for 5 days with 5 GB of data.  The plan includes free voice calls from anywhere in India and TV video calling and Zero-delayed gaming at Rs.  Silver Plans has 999 device protection and three months access to OTT apps.

  Airtel Extreme Fiber

Basic: Airtel has a single subscription plan for 100 Mbps while others offer higher speeds.  The Basic Plan provides 150GB of internet data and also provides unlimited local and STD calls.  It costs Rs 700 per month and includes Airtel Thanks benefits.  Unlike its high-cost plans, the Basic plan does not include access to OTT platforms such as Amazon Prime and Netflix, but it is only available to Airtel Xtreme users.

  Go to:

The GO offers two types of plans under the 100 Mbps speed category, but Airtel has only one basic option.  Both offer access to OTT platforms, but the initial variations for both Airtel and GO are only for in-house streaming platforms, with Silver Plan for Zero allowing users to have more variety.
